Liptovska Mara – the water dam has the area 27 km2 and the depth 43 m. It is about 200 m wide and 1 225m long.

Jamnicka valley offers two tarns – Lower Jamnické tarn and Higher Jamnické tarn, which you can find at the end of the valley.

In spite of uniqueness this waterfall is less known, because is not situated in main tourist routes.

They are situated in Račková valley. Račkové tarns – all were created by icebearg, which filled gap between Jakubiná, Končistá and Klin.

Two tarns are situated in Temnosmrečianska valley. You can visit it in season from 16. June to 31. October.

Vrbické tarn is the biggest natural lake in Low Tatras. It is situated in 1 113 m. u. s. in western part of Demänovská valley.
