It is 10 km away from Liptovský Mikuláš, behind of the village Bobrovec. The valley goes under the Silver hill to Brestová, it is long maybe 5 km.

Bocianska valley is very important for the tourism. It is long about 16 km and it deals The Low Tatras on the North on the Kraloholska part and Dumbierska part.
