Liptov with it´s area 800 km2, witch you can know just after the many visitings can offer so many alternatives for the trips to the world full of nature´s beauty, interestings, historical places or fun.

Liptov region is situated in north part of Slovakia. Highway Žilina – Prešov passes through it and railway Žilina – Košice. The closest airports are Poprad (56 km), Žilina (88 km) and Sliač (90 km).

Liptov is part of the Žilina region, which in size and population is about the third. It has an area of more than
2 000 km2.
