The water of the dum floated 13 villages ( Vrbie, Demcin, Sokolce, Liptovska Mara, Sestrc, Nizne and Vysne Dechtare, Lptovska Sielnica, Parizovce, Paludza, Raztoky and Cernice). The most valuable houses were transfer to the Pribylina.

Liptovska Mara can offer to the visitors a wide possibilities of water sports ( boats, surf, water ski, water bicycle..) swimming, golf or extreme sports.
